ABOUT THE ARTIST

“Hustle and Motivate” was painted by LC Howard. LC was born in Mobile Alabama, raised in Stockton CA, and currently resides in Oakland CA. Her art career was propelled in the Bay Area and has been featured in many art galleries and art showcases. She is a self-taught artist and comes from a family of creatives that have encouraged her to persue her passion for art. She went on to study through practical experience, learning through trial and error. She uses art as a therapy and a healing tool and teaches others through local classes. She hopes that her brand, "The Melanin Collective", influences and inspires others to explore the arts and tap into their creative potential.
