Michael W. is a brave artist who had a massive stroke in 2016. He loves to paint, and tries a lot of different subjects, but especially likes birds and flowers. Every year his family uses one of his paintings for the front of their Christmas card. Other activities he enjoys include visiting nature, seeing friends, and improving with therapies. Although Michael had no prior experience with painting, he has been a popular AWI artist since he started with the program in 2017.
