About the Artist

Romaine McNeil is a surreal/abstract Jamaican artist and musician, whose paintings provoke viewers into deeper thinking and conversation. Her interest in art and music started early, and after high school, she enrolled in the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts to pursue her passion. Her passion for music rekindled, and she decided to do electives in jazz, piano and drumming. Her first solo exhibition was held in St. Martin in 2014 at the Axum Art Gallery, founded and operated by renown Caribbean artist Joseph Henry, otherwise known as Mosera.
